Carbohydrates are macronutrients, they are one of the three main ways the body obtains energy or calories.

Here is a list of 10 healthy carb foods. 


1. Oats
Oats are a whole-grain food, known reliably as Avena sativa. Oat, the most intact and whole form of oats, take a long time to cook. For this reason, most people prefer crushed, or steel-cut oats.
2. Banana
Bananas generally contain 72–135 calories and 19-35 grams of carbs, depending on their size. A normal banana contains about 25 grams of carbohydrate.

3. Potato
While a medium potato has almost 37 grams of carbohydrates. Most of the carbs are starch and only a small amount is sugar.
4. Brown Rice
Brown rice is food often associated with healthy eating. Considered a whole grain, brown rice is less polished than white rice, which has had its hull, and germ removed.
5. Blue Berry
Blueberries primarily consist of 14% carbs and small amounts of protein and fat.
6. Milk


Milk is a nutrient-rich liquid food produced by the mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for newborn mammals before they can digest food.
7. Orange


Oranges are mainly composed of carbs, with very little protein and fat and few calories. Simple sugars such as glucose and sucrose are the dominant form of carbs in oranges.
8. Apple

It is is a myth that carbohydrates are unhealthy. The reality is that some of the healthiest foods are high in carbohydrates.
